The UI/UX Designer is the usability champion of the company. This means that the product’s overall look and ease of use is your main responsibility.

You will be part of the tech team but we’re not expecting you to be a 100% tech person. In your role, there’s fusion of arts and technology. Best of both worlds.

From a designer perspective, you are someone who is undeniably passionate about design. You’re (maybe) an artist at heart or you just have an eye for good design. But what accounts for a “good design”, really?

We’ll leave the creative liberty to you. However, you must apply usability and design best practices to your projects while adhering to the venture’s design standards- think of company branding. Color schemes and font styles are things we normally look out for so we would appreciate designs that are easy on the eyes. That being said, no same color category for both fonts and backgrounds please!

We always want to keep the creative juices flowing here. But while aesthetics plays a big role in your project success, the challenge now is to work your way ****from a raw design to a fully-functional prototype.

From a technical perspective, you must be able to translate high level product design and requirements into wireframes and mockups as well as create high fidelity and working prototypes.

Proficiency in the following tools and technologies is a must:

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Research skills. Gather, analyze and evaluate user interface and user experience design specifications, interface workflow and requirements and apply it to the design prototypes being developed.

Communication skills. Collaborate with cross functional teams (tech and non-tech) to elicit user feedback and clarify insights on design and user experience.

Presentation skills. Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flow diagrams and sitemaps and present them along with the wireframes, mockups and high fidelity prototypes to internal teams and stakeholders.

Auditing skills. Conduct design audit and quality checks on the application.
